Letran Clinical Instructors On Team Building Outing
After a challenging academic year
of 2011-2012, the clinical instructors of the Letran
School of Nursing initiated a time to relax, to bond,
and to plan for the upcoming school year. This also
served as an opportunity to set aside the usual white
uniform and white shoes, or the usual trousers with
formal collared polo or blouse and be comfortable in any
color of clothes, in style slippers or sandals, and be
in touch with nature.
To appreciate our other
provinces, the outing was held at a place away outside
Laguna, in one of the resorts of Laiya, Batangas.
From May 10 to 11, 2012, memorable times
transpired starting from the two-hour trip spent
listening to one another’s life story and realizing the
differences and uniqueness of each other. This occasion
also brought to mind that behind the usual concerns that
we have during the academic year, are the needs of each
individual to have some time to relax and rejuvenate.
This was organized by Mr. Jayson
G. Celerio, RN, MAN and Ms. Ma. Cecilia R. Dilag, RN,
MAN and approved by our Dean Dr. Alita R. Conde, RN,
MAN, with the participation of all the clinical
instructors: Ms. Carolyn Alcantara, RN, MSN, Ms.
Bienvenida Alcantara, RN, MAN, Ms. Analin Bacelonia, RN,
MAN, Ms. Natalia Badenas, RN, MAN, Ms. Evelyn Paunlagui,
Ms. Lilia Fonacier, RN, and Ms. Dinah DG Araneta, RN,
MAN.
Outdoor and indoor games were prepared with exciting
prizes by Dr. George Conde. Planning for marketing
strategies, impact of K12 Educational System, clinical
supervision program, research contribution, alumni
tracer, nurse licensure examination (NLE) enhancement
and mentoring were discussed in preparation for the next
school year. |
