SEAS Holds Parents’ Orientation


The School of Education, Arts and Sciences held the Parents’ Orientation on June 18, 2012 after the Mass of the Holy Spirit.  School policies and procedures were discussed during the event. Invited to give insights on the areas of their expertise and concerns were the Letran administrators led by Ms. Maressan Villorente who briefly discussed the services being offered by the students. Mr. Iyo Banatlao of the Campus Ministry gave an insight on the spiritual journeys that will be experienced by the students through masses, retreats, recollections and other activities. Ms. Mary Ann Liboon discussed the scholarships and other benefits that the students can enjoy while studying in Letran. Matters about tuition and other financial concerns were given by Ms. Maria Lim. The chairs of the different programs being offered by SEAS discussed the learning experiences of the students- Dr. Josephine Maningas for the education programs, Ms. Aimee Maloles for the BS Psychology program, Prof. Jerome Villadares for the BS Guidance and Counseling and Prof. Doris Bayugo, the dean and acting chair for  the AB Communication program. Prof. Melani Quilloy discussed the NSTP Policies.

The rector and president Rev. Fr. Honorato C. Castigador, O.P gave a warm welcome to the parents while Dr. Rhoda Odejar, the Vice President for Academics and Research gave her message to the parents.
