BS Nursing soars high
After having been evaluated by the Technical Review Committee for Nursing Education last February 21, 2008 and consequently recommended by the Office of Programs and Standards, the Commission on Higher Education has approved the BS Nursing course of the Colegio, granting it the privilege and right to confer the BS Nursing degree to its students. The recognition was given by the Commission En Banc under resolution no. 114-2008 with government permit no. GR 037 series 2008.

The Colegio was granted temporary permit to offer the BS Nursing course last June 2004 and has worked for full recognition ever since by going even beyond the requisites mandated by CHED with regard to program, curricula, faculty, and facilities.

To date the Nursing department boasts of extensive facilities, a comprehensive curriculum, and extensive training given to its students by nursing instructors, most of whom carry Masters in Nursing degrees. It prides itself with its mini-hospital complete with emergency, isolation, and pediatrics rooms, an orthopedic ward, operating and recovery rooms as well as a delivery room and a nursery.

The year marks the first batch of 171 nursing graduates of the Colegio. Arriba BS Nursing!
