Nursing, Industrial Engineering, Grade School, & High School Undergo Consultancy Visit

In line with the Institute’s vision to become a University, the Academics and Research Division applied for the accreditation of the 3rd set of programs namely Grade School, High School (Basic Education and Special Science Curriculum), Nursing, and Industrial Engineering. Consultancy Visit was conducted on March 22, 2011. Engr. Vinci Nicholas Villaseñor, Ms. Hazel Villagracia, RN, and Dr. Remedios dela Rosa oriented the PACUCOA Executive Committee and faculty members on the process of accreditation. A workshop on how to accomplish the self-survey forms was also done. The visit was organized by the PACUCOA Executive Committee appointed by the Rector and President. The committee is headed by Dr. Ma. Rhodora G. Odejar, the VP for Academics and Research.
To date, five programs of the Colegio are awarded with a Candidate Status by the Federation of Accrediting Association of the Philippines (FAAP) through PACUCOA. The five (5) programs awarded are Computer Engineering, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education, Business Administration, and Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Another set of programs is scheduled for Preliminary Visit on August 25-27, 2011. These are Computer Science, Information Technology, Accountancy, and Psychology.
