Selected Students Attend Peace Trip

In support of the Colegio’s thrust in advancing culture of peace through education, the Office of the Vice President for Academics and Research invited the Communication Foundation for Asia (CCFA) to spearhead their “Peace Trip” in the Colegio. The foundation has its peace camp entitled, “Christian and Muslim Youth: Spreading the Message of Peace and Unity”. The organization put up their exhibits and conducted a forum entitled “Peace Trip” on February 16, 2010 at 8:30 – 5:00 pm at the Humbert Hall.

The activity was intended to showcase the children’s expressions of peace in different media forms to share their reflections and insights on peace-building, and to raise awareness on cultural biases and promote inter-cultural communication.

Selected sections of Sociology, Political Science, and Philippine Government of college departments and fourth year High School students attended the said activity.

Php 1,000,000.00 and Tuition Refund for Board Topnotchers and Placers
One million pesos (Php1,000,000.00) will be given to Letran Calamba graduates who become topnotchers in licensure examination effective this AY 2010-2011.
