Bachelor of Science in Psychology

As a Letranite Psychology major, you will gain insight into the cognitive and affective processes through analysis of a variety of theoretical approaches related to human development. You will be equipped with greater skills in critical thinking and communication needed to interpret human behavior, and help you develop a healthy personality typical of a Letranite.
As a psychologist, you may choose a career in many fields including human services, human resource development, research, guidance and counseling.
Bachelor of Arts in Communication
Communication majors play a major role in the development of nation. It is through them that we get information about daily happenings in the society. They inform and interpret, educate, and enlighten the people.
As a Letranite Communication major, you are expected to develop appropriate technical skills, but more importantly you should be able to create and communicate with insight, vision, and voice. You will be dealing with principles and theories needed to understand and manage the visual arts and communication, which will serve as tools in the mass media.
With a strong training in communication for marketing, advertising in radio and television, theater arts, and broadcast journalism, you will be able to use your skills of persuasion and leadership in careers in advertising, sales, promotion, public relations, human resources, broadcasting, and many other careers that influence our society every day.
Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Secondary Education

Bachelors of Elementary Education with Specialization in Pre-School Education

Bachelors of Secondary Education major in English/Mathematics
Good English and Mathematics teachers can bring out the best in every student. Rousing students from their lack of interest and watching their curiosity grow is one of the biggest rewards of teaching. This program will allow you to pursue an area of specialty – either in English or Mathematics.
As a Letranite English Education major, you will be provided -- with refined writing skills, effective communication abilities, and critical thinking skills a must for every teacher. The specialization in Mathematics Education is designed to provide you with the abilities to actively engaging children and young adults in their own learning, and help them improve their problem-solving skills and mathematical thinking process.

TEACHER CERTIFICATE PROGRAM (TCP)
Competitive teachers are highly in-demand in the US and in other countries as well. Letran-Calamba’s Teacher Certificate Program is designed for professional individuals who are not education majors but would want to be a licensed teacher.
The training you will acquire in Letran-Calamba’s Teacher Certificate Program will develop your skills to be a competitive teacher globally. Letran-Calamba will ascertain that your knowledge of the subject matter and your competency in applying this knowledge in teaching and learning situations are the real qualities of a successful instructor. The program does not only focus on professional concepts and theories, but also on learning by experience. Classes are held only every Saturdays. LET REVIEW PROGRAM
A vital factor in achieving a strong education system is the quality of teachers. Responding to this need of continuously improving the education system is Letran-Calamba’s LET Review Center. As the only CHED recognized review center in Southern Tagalog, you will be taught by highly qualified experts who have had sufficient number of years of experience both as teachers and LET reviewers. The review program provides a comprehensive content review of the key subject areas in elementary and secondary education. It is complemented by practice exams with test questions based on actual previous board exams that serve to diagnose the reviewers’ competency in the topics discussed.
