1st year BSTM students explored the rich culinary heritage of the Philippines

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜! Our 1st year BSTM students explored the rich culinary heritage of the Philippines by preparing and familiarizing themselves with dishes influenced by different cultures that shaped our gastronomy.

From Spanish-influenced Pork Sisig, Chinese-inspired Lumpiang Shanghai and Pancit, to the American favorite Fried Chicken, they showcased how global influences blended beautifully into Filipino cuisine.

They also highlighted the authentic taste of Northern Luzon with the traditional dish Dinengdeng, celebrating our regional culinary identity.

This activity not only enhanced their culinary skills but also deepened their understanding of how food reflects history, culture, and tourism in the Philippines.
