Colegio and BJMP Calamba Sign MOA for Jail Ministry and PDL Rehabilitation

The Colegio and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Calamba City Jail – Male Dorm signed a Memorandum of Agreement on March 18, 2026 with Rev. Fr. Ramon L. Santos, O.P., Rector and President of the Colegio and JSupt. Roman T. Lantican, Jr., Jail Warden. The partnership aims to improve the public perception of jail services and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) rehabilitation through the conduct of the Pag-asa Jail Ministry, an Institutional Social Responsibility Project for Justice and Peace of the Colegio through the Community and Extension Services Department.

After the signing ceremony, Fr. Santos celebrated the holy mass for PDL assisted by personnel and college student volunteers. He said in his homily that God's salvation is for all but as Catholics, we cannot really say that we are already saved. We shall do everything to be worthy of God’s mercy and forgiveness.
