The Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba - School of Nursing stands in proud salute to our alumna, Ms. Samartina Clara Repomanta, RN, MSN (Batch 2012), for her prestigious nomination for The DAISY Award at Norton Clark Hospital in Indiana, USA!

The DAISY Award is an international symbol of clinical expertise and extraordinary compassion. For Ms. Samartina to be nominated by a patient—through a rigorous, blinded selection process—is the ultimate testament to the "Arriba" spirit of service.

A Journey of Excellence: From passing the NLE in December 2012 to serving seven years on the frontlines of Philippine government hospital Emergency Rooms, She has always been a woman of substance. Her dedication led her to pursue her MSN at St. Paul University Manila and serve as an Adjunct Professor, molding the next generation of nurses before migrating to the US under an EB3 visa in 2024.

Today, as she serves in the Emergency Department of Norton Clark Hospital, she continues to prove that a Letranite nurse is not just technically skilled, but deeply kind.

Ms. Samartina, your alma mater celebrates this milestone with you. Thank you for being a "DAISY" in the lives of your patients and for representing the world-class caliber of Filipino Nursing.
