LETRAN CALAMBA HOSTS PANDAYAN 10

With the theme “Isang Dekada ng Pagpapanday!”, the Student Development Services Department (SDSD) through the Office of the Student Affairs (OSA) is holding the PANDAYAN 10, a Leadership and Team Building Seminar for Student Leaders. The event is a collaborative project with the Philippine Association of Administrators of Student Affairs (PAASA) Region IVA & B.

It will be a three-day summer camp which will be held on April 11-13, 2008 at Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Calamba. High School and College student leaders are invited to participate in the said event. The registration fee for each participant is One Thousand and Two Hundred pesos (Php 1,200.00) to cover the expenses for food, seminar kit, handouts, certificates, and other administrative concerns if paid on or before March 28, 2008 (Friday). One Thousand and Five Hundred Pesos (Php 1,500.00) will be charged if payment is made after the said date.

“PANDAYAN” is a Filipino word for “foundry”. Same as a foundry, the Office of the Student Affairs (OSA) annually organizes PANDAYAN as a leadership and team building seminar which aims to train student leaders and equip them with necessary skills in order to be successful in their respective fields. PANDAYAN is hinged on the belief that student-leaders are not mere recipients but should be active agents of their own learning.
