Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba recently took one of its steps toward international engagement with a visit to Taipei, Taiwan from November 26 to 29, 2025. Organized by the Internationalization and Linkages Office and made possible through the generosity of Hytec Power, Inc., the trip focused on observing international skills competitions, exploring global best practices, and strengthening academic partnerships.
During the visit, the delegation witnessed the WorldSkills Asia Taipei 2025 Competition, where emerging professionals showcased exceptional talent in IT, robotics, engineering, and digital technologies, reaffirming Letran Calamba’s strong foundation in technology education. They also visited the National Taipei University of Education and Minghsin University of Science and Technology for benchmarking, gaining insights into innovative teaching methods, advanced labs, and industry-integrated programs.
These experiences are expected to open doors for faculty exchanges, student mobility programs, joint research, and future skills competitions, further enhancing Letran Calamba’s global presence.
With the support of partners like Hytec Power, Inc., the Colegio is continuously strengthening global competencies, advancing academic excellence, and preparing students to thrive in an interconnected world.
