Calamba Integrity Summit 2025

𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒂 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑺𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

Held last Friday, November 21, at the 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦 – 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 gathered student representatives, government officials, and members of different religious communities. The goal of the summit was to present the current status of projects in the city and give the public a clearer view of how departments operate behind the scenes.

Throughout the event, many participants bravely voiced their questions and concerns—especially about 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒚. Though not all answers were clear, the summit became a strong reminder that the people’s voice should 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒆 𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒅. The youth, schools, and communities showed that they are ready to speak up not just for themselves, but for Calamba and its people.

The speakers firmly emphasized about the 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. Students learned that true leaders with integrity make decisions that 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 instead of personal interest. Integrity builds a government that: uses funds properly, protects every Filipino's right and welfare, and ensures fairness and justice. 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕. 𝑰𝒕 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒖𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒔 𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒚.

The Integrity amidst the Call Against Corruption states that: 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞.
