Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba successfully hosted the NOCEI General Assembly

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba successfully hosted the NOCEI General Assembly last June 11, 2026, via Zoom, with the theme, “Nurturing Minds, Advancing Knowledge: Promoting Wellness and Excellence in Higher Education Institutions.”

The assembly featured meaningful presentations by Dr. Jerome Visperas Cleofas on wellness-centered leadership practices in advancing quality higher education and Dr. Genaro V. Japos on ethical AI-powered research, Scopus-indexed productivity, and upholding academic integrity. The event was also graced by the attendance of the CHED Regional Director for CALABARZON. As well as our very own Rector and President, Rev. Fr. Roman L. Santos, O.P.

Last January 2025, Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba was elected as the Vice President of the Network of CALABARZON Educational Institutions (NOCEI) with Dr. Ma. Xenia Z. Bitera representing our institution. The elected Vice President is tasked to serve as the chair of the general assembly, with the corresponding institution as the host.

Through this assembly consisting of 41 higher education institutions, reaffirmed its shared commitment to nurturing minds, advancing knowledge, and promoting wellness and excellence among higher education institutions throughout the CALABARZON region.
