May 8, 2026. Letran Calamba’s Graduate School and Center for Lifelong Learning and Professional Studies (GS & CLLaPS) and the Colegio’s School of Nursing (SN) take pride in applying for the offering of Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Major in Nursing Administration (Academic Track).
That said, the Colegio was visited today by Joint TP/TE for Nursing Education and CHED RQAT Assessors comprised of Dr. Mary Grace C. Lacanaria, Dr. Iris Chua So, Dr. Helen A. Carandang, Dr. Judith Mary Ann R.Chan, and Ms. Ana Cristina T. Biglete. The CHED Evaluators were warmly welcomed by the Colegio’s administrators and related office personnel headed by our Rector and President, Rev. Fr. Roman L. Santos, OP, MBA, RPH.
The proposed curriculum seeks to advance Registered Nurses or RN’s careers into specialized clinical practice, education, administration, or leadership roles. It focuses on advanced nursing theory, health policy, organizational leadership, evidence-based practice, and nursing research.
Its meaningful ending connects with the graduates’ career advancement, broader scope of practice, and further education.
Indeed, with MSN, graduates are prepared to lead, educate, and innovate within the healthcare sector. They can, ultimately, have a significant impact on patient outcomes and the nursing profession.
With the expert advice and guidance from our Technical Evaluators, we have high hopes that we can fully comply with CHED requirements and finally offer MSN in the nearest—most urgent—future.
