𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆! 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

The School of Education, Arts, Science, and Technology, through the National Service Training Program (NSTP), conducted an Emergency, Safety, and Preparedness Training on August 15, 2026, at the St. Bartolome Delas Casas Building, with the theme “Ready to Respond, Trained to Save.”

The activity was facilitated by the NSTP Cluster faculty members, with guest trainers from Wilderness, Search and Rescue, Laguna Chapter Philippines (WISAR), led by Governor Mr. Joseph Gomez and Vice Governor Mr. Danilo Gapas. Their expertise provided students with valuable knowledge and practical skills in emergency response and safety preparedness.

As part of the NSTP curriculum, the training aimed to strengthen students’ awareness, confidence, and readiness during emergencies. Participants engaged in hands-on demonstrations and simulations, including an Earthquake Drill, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), proper carrying of injured individuals, and basic bandaging techniques.

The activity emphasized the importance of staying calm, being prepared, and knowing how to respond when emergencies occur. Through this training, students were empowered to protect themselves and assist others in times of need.

Indeed, every Juan must be ready. By fostering awareness, strengthening preparedness, and developing practical emergency-response skills, students are empowered to become responsible individuals who are not only prepared to protect themselves but are also ready to lend a helping hand when others are in need.
